I would concur, the upstairs lounge is a beautiful space, but I feel really sorry for the girls in the old lounge who have been misled and now are losing their jobs.
I suppose we lose both Calvados and Dubonnet in the replacement lounge? There seems to be a lot of daylight so I hope the air-conditioning can cope in the summer otherwise it’s going to get like a greenhouse in there.
The real benefit of the original lounge was that it had direct access to the gate or gates which British Airways used at the time, but that all ended anyway.
