Flew this plane DEN-HNL yesterday. I was in J but the GA announced before boarding that the plane had just been upgraded with seatback entertainment in economy. So, I think it's coming to all of them. I was in one that had 32 J seats instead of 28.
IFE is definitely not coming to all 772HDs, nor is the 32J configuration. Those are unique to four former long-haul 777-200ERs, and there are no plans to retrofit any of the non-ER 777-200s in the HD configuration.
