Let's see. I think certain aspects of the current T1 setup will be missed, particularly the arrivals setup which, despite the bus, is usually quite efficient with a short walk to the arrivals hall and train station.

There's been a lot of fanfare around T2 but I was not impressed when I flew JFK-MAN on EI earlier this year. On balance, I'm not sure it will be a significant upgrade from the current experience, but hope I'm proven wrong.
