I was in BKK this past summer. Stayed at the Peninsula on my way into the country and the Four Seasons on the way out. No comparison. The Peninsula is far superior - in terms of the room, service, price, pool, staff, food, view, location, age, linens, you name it.
In regard to the orginal post on this thread - i don't remember the name of the restuarnt, but the buffet-style one at the peninsula is outstanding, but ridiculously expensive for BKK. I believe it ran 2,500 baht per person. ($60)
