Possible in theory, but I think a bunch of us are still trying to burn through certs that were issued long ago that expire at the end of this year.
I have found more U space on the flights I usually use, which are Mondays and Thursdays between SAN and SEA, which is always a popular route. Even within the weeks leading up the flights.
