I was both pleased and shocked to find myself bumped upstairs on both my flights for CDG-GIG-CDG. Though the seats were the normal old business class, the service and food was all economy. My boarding pass said Tempo. I was very happy to be in a nice seat for these long flights, but is this normal? Is in only on Rio flights?

When I checked in for the GIG-CDG I asked them about this and they said they bump up FP Rouge passengers routinely to the upstairs. There are only 4 rows of true business class seats and they are all downstairs. Pretty strange, eh?
