OK, 2025 visit
I will post some pictures - but not many as nothing much has changed, apart from a new GM ( think 2 years ago )
There are a few benefits that have been removed - now only get 1 item of ironing per stay and no mini bar
Rooms are tired and need basic attention. However the hotel is still undergoing outside renovations ( they painted outside last year ). The entrance undercover area is now being refreshed.
The hotel is HOT. The air-conditioning is poor, and takes time to work.
This is our third visit in the last two years, similar reasons to Mr G above, but doubt we will return.
Were upgraded last year to a small suite, and was promised same or similar room this time. After booking ( and paying ) we were told that this was now not possible due to "Accor" policy - umm ... visited day before arrival and invested several hours talking to various people about keeping the promises made.
When we arrived we had been upgraded, and a very nice welcome gift was in the room ( although still hot ), fruit and wine
Lounge good, but cut back.
Its about 40 -60 mins via Grab to the airport and we paid 500,000
The hotel is still being used by aircrew - so it cant be that bad!
All staff were attentive and helpful. Some language barriers. Booked a spa session for the next day, but found it closed when arriving.
There are rooms with balconies with exterior space, but I think you need to book direct for them. ( we got lucky )
