I've seen one rumor that Southwest has a new AI software system which sets a minimum number of bags to take and if the gate agent fails, he is penalized.
The reports indicate some gate agents are getting rather aggressive and flights have been delayed up to an hour for this reason alone.
Obviously this was entirely predictable. The fun and egalitarian Southwest system is being replaced with Spirit/Frontier style nastiness.
Has anyone here witnessed it?
