Does the Aegean extra-Schengen lounge at Athens allow people to buy a day pass? My daughter is flying next week with an 8hr layover.
I see Aegean is offering a bid to upgrade for the 2nd leg for as low as 80Euro (ATH-TLV), but if she can just pay for a single entry pass to the lounge instead that would be easier.
It does not.
8 hours is a lot to wait at an airport, even with lounge access.
She could go to the city center, see the Acropolis, eat, take a walk, and return to the airport
