I've been to the Anchor Bar when going to Six Flags Darien Lake with the kids last year. Really is a great place, I'm not much of a wing guy myself (sorry Winger ) The atmosphere is what's great about the place. Sort of like a Jackastor or Crabby Joes with a bit of history. There is a bar in the restaurant where they claim to have served the first Buffalo Wings. The Anchor Bar is located on 1047 Main Street near Downtown. And I'm pretty sure the directions are from the Border at Fort Erie you take the 190 south to downtown Buffalo exit at Porter Ave, drive on Porter Ave and right onto North Street, therestaurant is near the corner of Main and North.
