why fly, I am aware of the specifications of the BA fleet being a member of the BA Executive Club. My comments are based upon my impressions -- which coincides with that of many other FTers across several boards -- that BA First and NCW still feel claustrophobic and particularly narrow at the shoulders. I did not have those impressions after getting off SQ First and Raffles (LHR-SIN), and CX Business (SFO-HKG) class. I felt BA First (YVR-LHR RT) was slightly narrow at the shoulders but a great way to fly; and NCW was quite narrow at the shoulders and claustrophobic (NRT-LHR). So while the numbers say one thing, the bum in seat, tells me something else. And SQ First just blows BA First out of the water, IMHO.

World Traveller Plus is in fact, for me, preferable to NCW and is a great product. Out of the UK, however, WT+ costs more than a "M" class fare on AC. Ex-Canada, WT+ is sometimes cheaper than an "M" class fare on AC.

BA's Y is cramped and horrid and the IFE is not enough to make me want to fly BA in the back. 31" pitch is a terribly tight; I believe AC has an average of 33-34" pitch in the back.
