Worth noting that the main fireworks viewing area on Victoria Embankment across the Thames from the London Eye/County Hall is a ticketed event now. You can see the fireworks from a number of places and buildings but the only way to get the 'TV aspect' show is by getting your hands on a ticket.

The Conrad is however easily walkable to the Embankment within minutes if you can get tickets.
