The cost of buying points
Eighteen months ago I purchased 60,000 points for $600 with a 100% bonus. That gives me a cost per point of .005 per point. 1/2 cent each.

Today I tried another 100% offer. But the cost of 10,000 points was $135. That gives me a price of .00675 a point. That’s a 35% relative increase. .00175/.005

Is it usual for the cost per point to vary on these bonus deals?
