Misconnected and had an unplanned 8 hour layover in ICN last week, so checked out both the main Prestige lounge ("East", near gate 253) and one of the garden lounges (the gate 281 one - which is a trek) as well.

Some thoughts/observations:
  • Didn't take any pictures of the seating (since the East lounge was pretty busy all day), but the new color schemes/decor/furniture (lots of browns and darker tones, and more wood as well) are a significant improvement over the old Prestige (West) lounge
  • Variety of food seemed improved vs. the last time I connected through ICN (a year ago) - didn't take photos but on the hot food side of things there were 4 western dishes and 4 Korean ones at the buffet, as well as a bibimbap station. Staff were pretty good with refilling dishes as well and things didn't sit empty for too long. Except for the "chef stations" (one station for pizza, and another was some kind of noodle thing) the smaller satellite/garden lounges have the exact same food options as the main East lounge. However I felt the food quality was a step down from the SQ SKL in T1 FWIW
  • The "garden" lounges are located at the far ends of the new extensions to T2 and were basically deserted - probably not worth the trek unless you have a flight departing from that area. (Also given the lack of foot traffic the food dishes in the lounge were sitting out largely untouched for hours). The Korean garden itself outside the lounge was pretty cool though - and since you can walk into the garden which is open to the elements it's nice if you want to get some fresh air on a layover
  • There are I think 8 showers in the East lounge and 1 in each of the "garden" lounges - the shower room I got was massive (pictures below) and honestly one of the nicest lounge showers I've been in ever. Also - they have Aesop toiletries (in the large bottles, so can't run away with them unfortunately)

New Prestige lounge shower rooms are massive - you have an area with the sink + counter space and chair

Then another long open area next to the shower

Shower itself - no rainfall showerhead thingum but Aesop toiletries!
