Edit 2: if you are referring to flights to HKG from North America only, LAX-HKG had a bunch of seats in February last time I checked.
I pasted together LAX from today to today + 365. Cathay has something like 21 weekly flights, so over the next 52 weeks there will be 1000 flights, and not a single redemption seat available.
