I honestly thought that Ryanair check-in opens weeks in advance, like easyJet. So check-in closes 2 hours before departure?

OT but I have the feeling that there are a lot less Ryanair routes than previously. And given that no-one ever writes a single positive thing about Ryanair (not talking about FT here) I just wonder if the public in general is finally getting a bit fed up with this penny pinching ultra low cost travel concept. I just wonder, because I see that Spirit (NK) in the US is getting into difficulty.
