If Pakistan extends the ban again a few days before it is scheduled to end Sep 25th, the Nov and possibly the Dec flights out of SFO to BOM/BLR will replace with Etihad 777ERs with the crappy 2-3-2 layout business class after selling tickets for 777LR

Correction: I see that they are using the 1-2-1 configuration Etihad planes for SFO to BOM/BLR starting Sep. VT-AEQ and VT-AEP
What do they do to customers who paid for Premium Economy on the Delta 777LRs on SFO <> BOM/BLR when they switch to VT-AL* or one of the Ex-EY planes that don't have premium economy?
  1. Downgrade you to Economy and refund the fare difference (unlikely)
  2. Downgrade you to Economy and ask you to suck it up (likely)
  3. ....?...
