I am betting that SFO-TLV not being resumed as of yet has more to do with aircraft availability. I presume that next year, with 20 789s projected to be delivered, SFO-TLV will resume. ORD/IAD-TLV were and likely will resume with 788s and while there are a few of them, given that several are flown on seasonal TATL flights, pretty safe to assume that the slack in that fleet compared to the 789s is greater at the moment. Note I am under the assumption that SFO-TLV will resume with the 789 rather than the 77W, which is what UA was flying to TLV up until 10/7.
