LAX-YVR on landing you'll need to pass through Canada Customs. There's no lounge between the aircraft and customs. After customs, you'll be in the domestic terminal area and able to access the Domestic MLL until your YVR-YOW flight.

Unfortunately no way to access the International MLL.
