Does anyone have a recent DP regarding using avios to pay for the taxes, specifically what rate is used? Also if it can be combined with the $100/$200 statement credit? I recently redeemed avios for a BA flight that had taxes of $83 and got a $100 credit, so I'm leaning towards a yes to my second question.

Also are the statement credits by calendar year or card year?
