Yes, that is what I actually considered as a first option, but I did not find any half day/few hours tour starting from the airport at Viator though. I have never booked anything on Viator, so no experience with them. You mean you can customize your tour from those offered? But how does it work? Would you mind giving more details or a link to your tour?
