On SFO=LHR on Aug 31, it was a choice of vegetarian noodles or chicken. The third option on the App menu was never mentioned. The chicken was edible - it came with rice, some sort of green sauce which perhaps was mildly curried and some unidentifiable vegetables. The salad was dull, the bread roll was stale and stone cold and the dessert was a blob of what was described as cheesecake. No pre-meal drinks were offered. Wine came from a can in PE and was surprisingly drinkable but I saw bottles of wine on the cart which were presumably destined for Economy. No special offerings for this 1K who ended up #1 on the Biz Class waitlist.

Breakfast was a choice of pancakes or egg white discs with red sauce, sausages and potato. Disgusting. The fruit was surprisingly good, the yogurt was massively sweetened and therefore, to me, inedible and the croissant was stone cold and totally solid.

Do not fly UA PE if you want decent food.
