What made Mileage Plan (and Atmos Rewards for 10 days...) so great is the diversity of airlines from round the globe, as well as various alliances. The value proposition of the program is verily about the likes of Icelandair, Condor, Hainan, Porter (for Canadians a great partner), and Korean being possibly the best of them all...

Hopefully KE will stick around, as it is in Skyteam + JV with DL. The DL/AS "Battle for SEA" might push KE out of the AS orbit. The strength of Atmos Rewards going forward would be related to its ability to gain/retain such unique, diverse (esoteric?) partners.
