Not sure if this is sarcasm, but that's exactly the reason I don't like them. 100% plastic makes for a very uncomfortable flight. Itchy and far less breathable than the classic PJs with 65% polyester and 35% cotton. They are also heavier and more oversized, but do benefit from pockets on the trousers. I regularly wear the classic PJs around at home.
Strangely for me, I find the F1 pajamas less scratchy / itchy compared to the standard PJs despite the higher synthetic / lower cotton content.
