Moneris doesn't control or have a say in anything at all other than their own fee they charge the merchant. Moneris just passes on charges set by the card network (interchange fee + card brand fee + any penalties for non compliant transactions) and then tacks on their own fee (which generally has a percentage portion and a fixed portion).
AC is not seeing any portion of that Moneris fee, and in any event even the worst merchant agreement wouldn't be close to a 0.75% fee.
Moneris remits the remainder of the fees to the card network, and what the card network does with that money is entirely between them and their bank and loyalty partners. Even a high up at Moneris is not going to have access to that information, any more than my uncle who works at Nintendo does.
Simply knowing what the interchange rate is offers zero insight into how much revenue AC makes from people spending on AC branded credit cards.
