& the manufacturer & vendors have FAA & EASA sign off for vendor and plane type.
The 2.4GHz spectrum must be a mess now in the plane. Even with directional attennas and low power from the seat. Plus how many people having to Google how to put their ear buds into pairing mode 🤣
I was inflight, the process failed so I googled. No luck. FA new and didn't know. 4th gen airpods are pretty easy. I turned off bluetooth on phone so it couldn't pair. I don't know how else to problem solve what in theory is an easy pairing process.
Would like to know if anyone else has had success with 4th gen airpod pairing or if there were any tricks employed.
I have a pair of corded earphones as well but haven't needed the 3.5mm adapter so will try to remember it in future.
I have downloads on my devices but I just wanted to play around with the IFE. Some airlines have inflight chefs. Does NZ have a techy FA???
I've had intermittent luck with YT streaming. Best when everyone else is asleep. Going to try the free channel for DAZN for the upcoming NFL season which kicks off soon.
