I flew SQ PEK-SIN-LAX in J a couple weeks ago, booked through Alaska miles. SQ J availability is fantastic intra-Asia, but hard to book long-haul—though I wouldn't say it's much harder to find than JL.

This news is a huge disappointment as SQ is very useful to me. While I haven't used LA, I've seen a lot of saver J availability from LAX to South America, so it also hurts. Anyone else reminded of losing El Al as a partner last year? One can only wonder how much longer Korean Air will last.
