Which airline? CX OWE will unlock the HVC seats at the front of the plane, with extra legroom (but nothing else), by virtue of their NZL/HKG joint business agreement.

Possible also that QF OWE might do the same, on account of their codeshare agreement, but I haven’t had personal experience of this.
