It’s also really odd that they require purchase on Alaskaair.com. So if I buy an Alaska ticket in the app, it doesn’t qualify? If I call reservations to book, it doesn’t qualify? If I use Chase Travel, it doesn’t count? If I pay with wallet credit, it doesn’t count?
My guess is that whoever wrote this (the summer intern in the Atmos marketing department) didn’t really think this through, but who knows. Also odd that Hawaiian operated flights do not qualify, but perhaps it’s a technical limitation and coming later?
