It sounds like you're doing something that prevents your scanned passport from being saved in your profile.
The "old" saved passport info was manually entered. This must now be deleted and replaced with a scan of your passport.
Don't wait until your next checkin. Go to your profile, delete your currently stored passport, and save a scan of your new passport.
Ask someone in your family for help with this if necessary.
