I'm looking at flying DPS - AKL - CHC, WEL - AKL - DPS with Air New Zealand and was looking for some guidance on transiting through AKL. I understand there are separate terminals at AKL for domestic and international flights, so NZ use both.
- I assume I will need to clear immigration at AKL on arrival and make my way landside over to the domestic terminal, but will my luggage be checked through to CHC, or will I need to collect it and check back in again. Will I receive the boarding pass for both flights when checking in at DPS?
- On the return leg will my luggage get checked through, and will I get both boarding passes in WEL?
