I was logged in on the Porter site, and manually entered the booking with the Porter PNR in "manage booking" on the Porter site. Was able to select seats, my VIPorter number was in the FF box and greyed out so couldn't change it.
Interestingly, I was awarded AS status miles as well I just noticed.
I don't really have interest in Porter or Alaska status points right now, nor in flying Porter regularly, but maybe there's some IT jankiness in there somewhere someone might make use of.
Did you already have your VIPorter number registered in your AS account?
I just realized that mine wasn't, and have updated it. But I can't see how to update it using MMB, but I guess I could call.
It doesn't look like I can my booking on either site, but I've added Mrs Sofasurfer's VIPorter number and will see what happens.
