Great, until the flight is filling up and the FA is desperately trying to find room for everyone's carry-ons. She spots my small bag which wont fit under my seat because my backpack, which is the larger of the 2, is already there, and insists on moving it all the way to back of the plane. I'm in row 6 and will now have to wait to be the last person off the plane in order to retrieve my tiny carry-on. I'm essentially punished for packing small and lite. When I protest and mention my tight connection she threatens to gate check it--would eliminate any chance I'd have of retrieving the bag and then making next flight. Thankfully, she found room for it about 5 rows behind me. Still annoying. Next time I'll bring a much bigger bag.
That's awful. Next time, suggest to her/him to put it under one of the middle seats in the Upfront Plus rows.
