I am just back from an extended holiday away from my keyboard. However, I wanted to add a couple observations from my time in the AS Lounge last month. I was disappointed the seared scallops remained off the appetizer menu (still question the need for salmon roe on the top of the seared scalloped when they did serve them). Also, I did not get a chance to fight for my preference of a rare steak as that too was removed from the menu!!!! To add insult to injury, THE WINE LIST HAS BECOME A HUGE JOKE! They were serving La Linda Malbec, a wine available in Canada for 15 Canadian Dollars which is roughly $11USD. Seriously, a first class lounge serving an $11USD bottle of wine is really pathetic.
