I guess there is a first for everything - my first decline ever. According to my records I last applied for a personal card of any bank a year ago (got one Chase Ink this year), and haven’t applied for a BofA card since 2015 (personal) or 2018 (business).
Is it worth calling the reconsideration line (if there is such a thing) before getting that letter?
I tried calling after this outcome and they said you have to wait for the letter because they can't see it. The number you call for reconsideration is in the letter and is a different team from the main team.
I had already gone through the fraud group before I got the unable to approve notice so now I'm waiting. Hoping I can sort it out while traveling. Might need my partner to unlock my Experian again because they block foreign IP addresses and some VPNs.
Appreciate all of the fraud protection... and it makes things complicated.
