I fly between HKG and SFO frequently. The lounge reminds me of the pre-renovation BKK lounge, with a white marble look reception area. The reception area forms the vertical stem of a “T.” Once you pass the desk, the space opens onto the horizontal bar of the “T,” where you can turn left or right to reach the main seating and dining areas.
There are plenty of shower stalls on both sides, never had to wait. Always been given a key rather than a vibrating pager. Food is available on both sides as well, but there’s more variety on the right, still meh. You do get a vibrating pager from the noodle bar though. The coffee machine on the right was out of order and there were no tea bags, so had to go to the left side, where a "barista" made coffee and tea.
Good to know there's no wait times on showers & there are plentiful of stalls -- guess the recent renovation has bumped up the # of shower stalls, from just the 2 stalls I remember having, back when I last swung by 6+ yrs ago.
Looking fwd to revisiting in a few weeks!
