Great. Another attempt to improve something that is absolutely worse for me.
When I got to the gate for my last SFO-YYZ, they were still on zone 1, but I was able to easily walk up, fist-bump the concierge, and walk into the 1/2 lane, which only had zone 1 pax (yay SFO).
If there stops being a 3-6 lane, then every airport is going to turn into YYZ INT where they just say "zone 4, use any available lane".
