There's no "points" after the word "status" because "status" is used in "status bonus". The sticking point is whether ALL flight earn is status points (as well as redeemable points). As always, I'll point back to
the Elite bonus becomes a Status multipler, all earning will be Status Points, and Status points earned will be Points for redemption.
which is admittedly a statement by

Consider also that one of the current differentiators between RDM and EQM was the application of CoS bonus. Is AS going to take that away from us, and not compensate with more use of status bonus?
As for Status bonus on distance earn, I'm seeing conflicting claims. It appears AS has said "no" to that for AS/HA flights, and maybe partner flights booked on AS, but not partner flights booked on partners?
And in
https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/37284671-post1.html there is the statement apparently by AS that:
Is there going to be an elite tier based status point multiplier (above 5 points per $) for those with higher Atmos status?
Yes. Status bonuses remain unchanged from today (Silver at 25%, Gold 50%, Platinum 100% and Titanium 150%), and will apply across whichever earn option the member selects.
With no exceptions or carve-outs, which may just be an oversight on their part. Yes, you say, but that's for non-status points. Which brings us back to the claim that they're the same thing for flight earn.
