Was a United 1K for the longest time but find United now is most expensive for redemptions. (110K for one way business to Europe) For me redemptions only worthwhile for Europe short haul.

Lufthansa recently moved to dynamic award pricing. One can find award availability even at 28k miles business one way. As a Senator companion award is 50%. In June redeemed 2 tickets in business Del-Zurich for 42k miles on Swiss. Got lucky and got upgraded to First. Taxes are a little on the higher side. Lot of availability in First at 78k miles.
