KLM & AF Apps - Android - Insist on passport scan for each flight
Why do both KLM/AF apps insist on a scan of the passport for each flight. This starts a week out from checkin. This is even if you have done it before and I can see in the app it already knows my passport details.
This serves no purpose. I could easily still forget my passport before arriving at the airport. It starts a week out, it is up to the passenger to provide the correct documentation. It inisists on a fresh scan, it will not accept a previous photo. This is just an inconvenience. I can't yet tell if it will stop me checking in, and its seems recent as in I don't remember doing it in Q1 but it seems a thing since June July but I could be misremembering.
Does anyone know if maybe there is something wrong with my profile that means I need to do this. This seems unlikely when the App actually quotes my details back to me even while insisting on a fresh scan.
