As they are specialists in cybersecurity & AI, it's interesting how many of their conference attendées are quite loud audible after an entertaining evening out on the private Thames boatride + add a couple of drinks with open full bar......
*cough* discussing rather sensitive details at the hotel's smoking corner, at the swimming pool / gym, waiting for the elevators and even the morning after in the breakfast room...... fortunately no foreign power has shown interest in my impish deaf ears but i can understand the ease of deploying someone with ultrasensative satelite receivers to pick up revelations, data and information.

Any way the GM came to the Club Intercontinental Lounge to profusely apologise for the conference take over and for the swarms of people descending as locusts on the breakfast room, elevators and wellness facilities. Anyway it was nice to converse in Afrikaans about the fact that in the offpeak very low occupancy weeks, the hotel tries to attract companies with complete takeover groupstay possibilities as a way to bridge over till the next big event at 02 Arena and peak travel periods. He gave as tip, if the hotel's website mentiones Kinara Restaurant and the rooftop bar are closed, this indicates a low occupancy period and usually a large company event/group/conference will take over the hotel.

So you are aware and warned !
A lot of eligable men about ......
Or rather if you are an industrial spy for a foreign power you might get even more lucky unless it's an conference about the art of enjoying local crumpet
