exactly what I’ve been saying throughout this thread. To which I was told (and invariably, you will be) that it’s not the pax job to figure out which seat has which features. To which I say that’s fine, unless you want the specific feature you want. You are the one that gets the seat, so if one wants the window, it’s up to them to make sure the seat has it. I learned the hard way [once] that you can’t sit in A/B seats on a CRJ if you have a lap infant. We had AB seats that first time, got told we had to swap to the CD side, and the next trip (we had a lot of CRJ/7 flying out of CVG, home base at the time), I knew to just pick from that side. There could (maybe should?) be an IT solution for that (exit rows are still blocked for me when flying with my kids), but until then, I know.

Don’t you already do this - isn’t this essentially in the CoC you agree to when purchasing your ticket. It’s not a checkbox per se, but is what you agree to when you click the ‘purchase’ button.
Do we really need the blaring ‘caution: the beverage in this [coffee] cup may be hot’ warning everywhere.
