Air Tahiti Nui has only 4 787-9 aircraft. The airports served are few. AKL, NRT, PPT, LAX, SEA, CDG. That makes it possible to manually find out their schedule.

Is it possible that in early November, sort of randomly chosen, that only 2 aircraft are being used?

I picked a time point, Friday, November 7, 2025 at 9:30 am Pacific Time (1730 UTC/GMT). At that moment, TN8 from PPT lands in LAX. Let's call that Aircraft 01. Where are the other planes? It seems that one is almost landing in Tokyo. Let's call that Aircraft 02.
Paris does not have a plane. TN8 will eventually depart for CDG in 2 hours. No plane has departed CDG.
Auckland does not have a plane. It had a flight but that arrived Thursday morning in PPT.
Seattle does not have a plane. No flight to or from SEA on that Thursday or Friday.
Aircraft 03 and 04 are not accounted for. Maybe they are in PPT, maybe undergoing major maintenance somewhere in the world? Maybe one is sitting around doing a few charters?
