I've had two SLH hotel stays so far (The George, Christchurch, NZ and The Vintage Lisbon in (you'll never guess...) Lisbon, Portugal.

Both were only one night (and I think both were on points but not 100%) but both were fantastic -- not sure how much of that was because the L in SLH is luxury -- or because I'm a Lifetime Diamond (but both welcome letters specifically mentioned this which is something the other brands don't [consistently] do, so struck me as an appreciated attention to details. Would return to either in a heartbeat and those stays are a huge part of the reason for an upcoming trip to Ireland we're starting our trip at a SLH vs. Hilton or HGI [though this is going to be an interesting trip as Hilton coverage is sparse in a few places my wife wants to visit] -
