However, I'm looking at flights from BDL-RSW which starts October 26. JBU 2103 arrives RSW at 1:30 and JBU 2204 departs RSW at 2:30, which would be pretty tight if they are different aircraft. This oddball pair would give me 2 more cities and it's easy driving distance from home.
I’m not aware of any tools that will provide this information automatically. But so far the “dead end “ routes that you describe seem to be working fine for most people as out-and-backs. Eg, I did BOS-BUF-BOS-CHS-BOS this past Saturday, 2 easy turnarounds in BUF and CHS. If the two flights you mention are BDL-RSW-BDL i doubt you will have any problem. I think it is the flights going *into* major hubs where there would be a potential risk of a new aircraft being subbed to do the return flight.
