Wife downgraded from Upper Class to Prem Economy on an award due to last minute swap
Really unhappy about this and wish it could’ve been communicated proactively/in advance. Apparently due to mechanical issues…
In terms of compensation, Virgin has offered an Upper Class ticket as a replacement to go anywhere without restriction (TBD if true; is this likely?)
does accepting this mean there is no further UK261-based comp? How would that have worked anyway given it was an award ticket?
