Recent stay report

Had a great one night stay on a recent summer weekend. Booked on points (about 83K) into a king room. Was given a lower floor with interior view but was told at check in they were fully committed so no upgrades.

Otherwise a basically perfect stay. Room was fresh, modern, and clean with a great design. Comfy bed. Service was fantastic with multiple staff members remembering my name. Enjoyed coffees and drinks in the lobby lounge. I personally like this location a lot though some may prefer the Georgetown Ritz. I did walk by that property and found the hard product of the common areas to be outdated, though still nice.

Only other nitpick as others have mentioned is the lobby itself is miniscule. Not sure why they didn't design it to be at least a little bit larger. It has exactly four chairs.

I genuinely appreciate that this hotel doesn't charge a "destination fee" and gives you unlimited delicious coffee all morning long.

Look forward to a return visit!
