Thank you for the info. Had some major dollar amount bills to pay (kid's tuition bill) but wanted to get the LP bonus on the Silver, so holding off till it shows active. It's a pretty cool perk for the card, 15k loyalty points for basically nothing, just doing what you're supposed to do with a credit card.
