If my Barclays Aviator Silver is going to be transitioned to Citi, which I’m okay with that but I hate losing my banking relationship with Barclays. I love Citi and Barclays, and wish to keep accounts with both, but what card is best to get with Barclays? Most of the cards are not that interesting.

Is the Emirates Gold card worth getting? Would it be best to apply for a card when I still have a Barclays relationship or apply after my card gets transferred?
