This. But you don't even need to have received the card. You can activate the card now even if it hasn't been received or even mailed. I was approved Friday night. Today, I went in to the app, clicked on Activate and done. My card hasn't even been mailed yet. Today I booked a partner award and the $12.50 partner fee showed up until I added the Summit card to my AS account and chose that as the payment method. Once I did that, it showed the $12.50 as waived. I have already met the spend using just the temporary card details. I triggered a fraud alert 🤭 but that was easily cleared via text. I also added the card to Apple Pay.
I was able to activate the card in the app, but where did you find the card expiration and the 3-digit code without the physical card? I need them to add to AS website as payment method, but I can’t find them on BOA website/app. Do you have to call BOA?
I don’t care about the physical card, but I have several partner awards I want to book. I am also waiting for the card to arrive to pay some taxes and satisfy the spend for the sign up bonus.
